Shunned Into Darkness,
No Longer Gaining What She Craves...
Look out the window,
A fire burns through the sky;
Not touching the icy cold of the dark,
Everything's gone dark,
The world no longer sees through the veil;
The one that covers the real life of mine.
The longing of being found hindered;
covered is the face that longs to be saved,
A mask that keeps it all locked up,
Mask in my hands I cry tears that no one see,
Waiting for the one I miss to hold me close,
Make me see that it's ok,
No one will see the world behind these blue eyes,
The mask shelters what the veil cannot cover.
