Three Words

Missing image

My life is not like others

I had to face a lot of challanges

No, you cannot help me because

This is my life, and i am responsible

 

From the moment i've got sense

I had to work along with studying hard

To keep the scholarships on and

To earn the money to eat and live

Yeah i have never gave it up

 

Today i know how precious

Those three words are

"Never give up"

I have followed those words

 

Still working and fighting to achieve

Sometimes feel i wanna commit suicide

But i have chosen my way to follow

And have decided to "Never give up"

    wow when we look back we can hardly believe we survived, but we are stronger for it, so it must of been worth it although it is hard to admit

    Truer words never spoken

    Coming from someone who has also gone through all the garbage that life has to offer, I can really empathize with what you are saying in this poem. The language is subtle yet full of emotion. This poem will help people who want to give up... and that is something to be proud of.

    Very touching! I can identify with a lot in this poem. Never Give up Wow such powerful word's! You can inspire alot of people with this poem. Good job!

    In the spirit of good faith I would like to add that if you put quotes on never gave up on line 9, It would flow a little more since you have quotes on every other time you say Never give up towards the end of the poem.....that really stands out. Also capitlize those I's! I don't know if you put them in lower case on purpose as a part of the poem, but I think they should be capitilized because hey it's you and you are a powerful person who been through some tough times so your "I's" need to stand out and not be wimpy lower case !!!!!!!

    But of course like I said I love it!!!

    Whether or not

    these three words refer to you are not, there is much hard work at stake to apply them in practice. How without hope one can feel or be to entertain the thought of suicide - only those that have reached this depth, can know this. Your poem provides some background to a life that is or was not easy, but it also provides what has not been said. I follow this life style, but also learnt that no matter the situation, nothing can prevent these three words from not being true.     Positive and rewarding decision

    You have made a leap of faith here. Written a great poem and shown that strength of character is the way to get where you want to go in life. It's too easy to give up. Too easy to find excuses. Its even easier to blame others for our failings. But when we look past everything and realise that everything that happens to us is part of OUR journey. Something we had to experience for our own growth. then we have the strength to stay with it and succeed. We never give up. It's such a powerful feeling when we make it against the odds.     Soul, the prompt is powerful from a prime minister that led a country through the second world war...And you have picked up his words to challenge you through the battles you face, and life's stresses.. I admire you very much as you work for scholarships! I have nieces and nephews doing the same!

    This is a great motto to live by. It applies to many areas of life. The poem could use a bit of work and if you want an honest critique I'd be happy to help. I get some rather harsh replies to unsolicited advice so I never or rather, rarely give it

    This so personal and to the point well written poem represents hardship in life so very much...It's deep,intriguing,bittersweet also quite painful at times to read...cos emotional pain radiates throughout these lines but also.....hope and the will to make it throughout life's hardships...however hard it may get..Some of us don't have that strength,beautifully worded out this poem...

    I definitely like this. Hopefully you realize, though, that being responsible for your own life doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't accept help from others, and that changing direction isn't necessarily giving up. (ok, got the "mom" in me outta my system!) Nice job on this! One thing is certain, those 3 words will take you places you never imagined!!

    Wonderful poem. The contents here i can liken to myself. A lot of the things said here are very deep and I'm sure many other people can acclaim to knowing the feelings here. To 'never give up' are like you said, very precious words and i hope you never do because you are precious to. Yes, as you said in the first line,your life is not like others. You are quite an individual, and deciding never to give up was a very wise choice of words for the ending. Excellent writing.

    "never give up" such strong words especially if you're trying to tell them to yourself...you could almost mumble these 4 words "easier said than done"

    you are very right we are given different sorrows and challenges in life. some of us are not rich or powerful we give in other ways. when you look back upon your life you will know you did your very best. even in the darkest of time we can find hope this is what life is all about hope. I think you have said it very clear. I think some are given better hands then some people.

    I like the thought of this and I can sense the person in a stage of realization. I can relate to this piece once upon a time.

    On a personal note, I suggest you change the spelling of the word 'challanges' to 'challenge'. This piece has a lot offer. I suggest, from time to time edit.

    Hello once again my friend. First, remember to capitalize "I" when it stands alone!! Just a pet peave of mine. Everyone has hit troubles and everyone has challenges. But, what matters is not how many times you fall down in life. The only thing that will matter at the end of the day is that the number of times you got back up is greater than the number of times you fell. I applaud you for never giving up. I have had cancer twice and I'm only 17. But, I wasn't about to give up. And neither should you! Beautiful poem!

    I really like this, you are showing true courage in facing your struggles and trying your best to live your life to the fullest, achieving success by working hard and being true to yourself.
    "Never give up" those three words are very important. I'm glad that you have chosen to never give up. Some days it seems easier to do that, but fighting to keep living will prove to be a better choice in the end.

    Hi, ok firts criticism (sadly)it could use punctiation and there are a few capitalisation things but other than that that's it.
    Second I Loved it it's probly the first one on here that i've read that truely reflects the hard ship of a life that isn't written like a 14 year old emo kids diary. Life is hard yes but we should 'Never give up' on trying.

    I appreciate the sentiments of the poem, obviously this is very heartfelt, however I think the slang terms take away from the power of the poem, changing "wanna" to "want to" etc could really improve this peice because the slang ruins the serious tone of the peice for me.
