You always try to fix things;
Maybe they can’t be fixed.
You want to solve my problems
With simple magic tricks.
I’m grateful that you’re helping;
It’s nice to know you’re there,
But telling me not to blame myself
Isn’t getting anywhere.
I don’t care; I know it makes no sense.
I don’t care; I’m just being dense.
Please understand me,
I can’t really explain,
But believe me when I say
It’s my fault.
I’ve handled this so badly,
Sometimes I want to die.
I’m selfish and dramatic:
I have no right to even cry.
Thank you for being so caring;
I should be more grateful, I know.
All that you say is so helpful,
And it does make it better, even though
I don’t care; I know it makes no sense.
I don’t care; don’t come to my defense.
I know you don’t agree;
I don’t care if it’s right or wrong,
Just believe me when I say
It’s my fault!
