Hello cruel world.
what a cliche saying,
the same old same old.
Day in and day out,
we waste away
breathing
hoping
praying
that somewhere along the way,
Our prince will lean in
and kiss us,
magically awakening
the emptiness within us,
and breathing life back
into our soul.

I really like this - it made me think and I can so relate to it. Loved the use of language throughout and the single word lines were particularly effective in communicating its mood. Think so many of us share the sentiment of being awoken by our own princes (regardless of what he may look like to others)Made me think of how so many of us just waste our days at times. the day begin in the morning within seconds but it take hours making us to await..the time itself is the cost for the achievements sometimes....you are very deep poet always...well done
