A different feeling now when I awake
Another presence so close by, I'm never alone
Two beings, yet we are one
A product of love lying within me
I feel her moving, kicking, growing
As my stomach expands, so does my heart
I talk to her, I sing her to sleep
I love more now than I ever have
I dread the day that comfort leaves my body
And yet I can't wait to see her
My baby, my love, my heart and soul
She's mine to love forever

No, I'm not pregnant...but I've often tried to imagine how it feels. To have that constant sense of comfort...to never feel alone.
