The nursery is all aglow,
new baby coming, boy or girl?
everything will change, this I know,
soon my life will be in a whirl!
But while I'm in the pregnant state,
I'll practice a sweet lullaby.
Not for a minute will I wait,
to stop my darling baby's cry.
It's an old prayer said many times,
but new to my baby for sure,
full of God's love in all the rhymes,
to make my baby feel secure.
"Good night sweet Jesus, guard us in sleep,
our souls and bodies in thy love keep.
Waking or sleeping keep us in sight,
Dear Gentle Savior good night, good night!
Good night Sweet Jesus good night, good night!"

This is an old song my mother used to sing to me as a child.

Awww there is no greater joy than the bond a mother shares with her new baby. Lullabys such as this are the reason that the connection between mother and child are so endearing and enduring. Good luck in the contest.
