What sacred maneuvers
so recently reborn;
hidden meanings from
old gospels are torn.
Shapes of the body,
given to your dance,
to rekindle the mystery
and the romance.
Symbols of alchemy,
old zodiacal signs,
first form in body,
then, embedded in mind.
To experience wholeness,
to rekindle the fire,
we dance in Eurythmy,
raising souls higher.
We form the animals,
then, it's the trees,
then the old Gods,
who did as they please.
We form the skies maps,
to show us the stars,
then it's the planets
like Venus and Mars.
All these positions,
to Initiate me,
thankful to Herr Steiner
for this Eurythmy.

Author notes
This is an actual form created by Rudolf Steiner in the early 20Th century, which when we also notice G I Gurjieff's sacred dances and music, appear to be similar "keys" to developing a relationship between mind and body. These "magics" of dance and rhythm are meant to help with posture, breathing, flexibility, and awareness. I hope you indulge yourself in searching for more info on them.

This is beautiful and very well done. I enjoyed reading it very much, the rhythm is spectacular; it flows wonderfully and the message is breathtaking. An amazing write, well penned, definitely deserving of that trophy!
