Roses
Rhapsody of beauty
Rapt in silver tissue
Reveals the messges
Read in blood red petals
Raised to bloom and wither
Records his lost ardor,
Revenge is sweet gone cold
Ruthful in thought and deed.
Regard dead bloosoms that
Reveal his callous heart;
Rue the love once given,
Rebuffed with his bouquet.
Remorsefull memories
Ruted in luted song
Rhymed myriad petals
Resound like twanged lost chords.
Resentment's answers grow
Rimed in icy anger.

A nice write and attempt at the form. Lovely depth of feeling. Nice simile. Good imagery, flow and tone. Vivid descriptives. Good word choice, nice alliteration and assonance. Please check your line count for your pleaides. Your syllable count for each line is perfect. You line count is 6 when it should be 7. Thank you for your entry.
