To all my friends upon this site

I thank you all from the bottom

of my heart.  All those who have

supported me, through thick and thin,

all those who have believed in me

and my work.  And yes, even those

that have not, I have taken each and

every comment on board and I thank

you so much for them.

 

My time with you has maybe been a short

one - just over two years ago I began here.

Since then I believe I have grown and developed

as a writer. 

 

I have written good pieces, and yes

some not so good. But each and every one was

written from the heart. And that is something that

no one can take away.

 

I leave this site, proud in the knowledge that those that

have read some of my pieces, I have affected and touched

in some little way at least. The power of words, of writing

them down and seeing the result of my work on people is

to me the greatest gift that I could have.

 

I am not leaving just yet, as I need to do a few more things

on here, not least to save all of my work before deleting them and

going.  'Gregory Graive' and 'CarnivaLesque' I will try to finish off before

I leave.

 

Thank you all so very very much for supporting me and believing in me

I wish you all the very best for the future too.  I love you all, and I leave you

with this...that Darkness ALWAYS reigns...

    Oh brother, I am so sorry I've just seen this I have been so wrapped up with my son I had no idea! It has been a pleasure reading what I had chance to and every one of your comments was an honour to see. I have learnt a lot from your work and gained much inspiration. I will be sad to see you go Wishing you the very best of luck in whatever you do, promise me you'll never lay down your pen, and where ever you are you will continue to write. So sorry I didn't see this before you left and have chance to say proper good bye I will never forget you and I do hope that maybe one day you'll return...even if its just to say hi

    Dear Wayne: Sorry so long since I last replied. i found out that I had a mini-stroke as a reslut of my local ER room's staff abusing me when I had my accident of June 10th. I really appreciate all of the comments that you have made on my poetry. You are someone that showed that they really care for other people and their lives. You showed me more kindness than some of my best friends ever have. You listened to me, and even offered advice. Thank-you for your friendship, and for really caring about me. Much Love, Janjan.

    I will surely miss the spine tingling-knot-in-stomach feeling that you provide like no other through your works here, but with the gentleness that we will survive each tale to read on yet another of your works. I hope that whatever reason causes you to leave, it brings you love and health and happiness, and continued pleasure in writing. I am sure your words will continue to chill and thrill wherever you may roam. I do hope this is not truly goodbye, that you will look up those of us who have fed upon your words and ideas and learned and stretched ourselves, also that you will share news of your travels and fortunes through life, especially if you publish your works for the world. God bless you and best of luck, the darkness will seem colder and bolder now and I may not wish to tread beyond the light.

    I've known you briefly from you joining my home base group, GFP, and you may or may not remember me. I am saddened to see a fellow AP-er leave, but I do hope that one day, you deem it mandatory to come back and visit all those who will miss you.

    You where one of the first ones to welcome me to AP with your dark wishes, I was very intrigued. I visited your page several times... but there was this warning of being careful of what doors to open, for they might not be easily shut. I know of what you speak of, for many long years ago, this was a door that I did open, and have nailed the crap out of to keep shut. I've been keeping your work in reserve, for better days... but now I am so sad to know that I might have waited too long I do wish you the darkest of luck in your new endeavors, and I still do hope that I will be privileged to reading your darkness in the future.

    I am heartbroken to read of your leaving. Just as I was getting to know your writing and your personality, another of my favorite poets leaves the site! I wish you all the best that life has to offer. I know I will find one of your books on a shelf at Borders. My own son just finished his first book (a true story) and even before it is out, he has offers for a movie in CA! Take care, be happy and don't forget we love you as a person, first and a fine writer, second!

    Wayne, brother, friend, and gifted writer. You are one of my first favourites ever noted. I know we have left many thoughts between us over the years, and have both given each other valued support on many occasions.

    It is a sad day to see such a prolific writer leave, but knowing your future will be bright and fulfilled in your writting, maybe one day I'll get me a signed copy of your future projects.

    Please keep in touch, and if I'm down your way on my travels, or you visit Scotland, give us a shout, the doors always open.

    Seems my family, one-by-one are all leaving.
    Although I understand and respect your reasoning, it will not be an easy road for me..

    I, for one, will feel as though there is a huge void when I log onto AP once you are gone my friend ... you have not only allowed me the priviledge of exploring the depths of the darkest thoughts that run through your amazing mind, but have held my hand while doing so
    I believe that in life we always learn things through the people we meet and you have taught me that no matter how dark it may be, there is always a spot of light to allow visions of the darkness ... you, my friend, are my spot of light.
    I will miss you desperately and considering as you have made me realize that Stephen King has nothing on you (along with many other PUBLISHED writers!) I will not be able to read another horror without having thoughts of you looming in the background ... thank you Wayne, thank you for allowing me this precious time with you

    This is really sad.. It seems like everyone is leaving.. But I think you will be missed the most .. You are so very talented.. Your stories have kept me up at night with a flashlight sometimes just shaking..lol.. That is a good thing.. means you have wonderful talent to touch people like that through your words.. I will miss you very much.. I have not really known you for long but you made a big impact with your owrds.. thank you very much for wanting to share your beauty with us.. I feel very blessed ..     There seems to be a revolution going on that I am not aware of...Everyone is leaving.. I myself have not been on too much..just drop by a few minutes. I haven't written for awhile either.

    Aw, I'm sad that you're leaving. I just added you to my faves a short while ago and was looking forward to reading more of your work. But, if you feel it's time for you to go, then by all means, it's your choice. Heck, there are some days I find it hard to believe that I've been on this site since 2003. I'm going to miss your poetry. All the poems I should read before you leave and I'll miss all the poems you would have written in the future, but probably won't be posting. Best of luck to you wherever life and poetry takes you.

    Oh Wayne, not you as well! This side will be so dull with out you and who's stories am I going to read for bed time?
    I will miss you deeply, I didn't know you for long but you've changed something deep within me, you know what I am talking about I hope. I am forever grateful to you, for those days you took your time to help me back on to the right path.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for always being there for me and seeing me through thick and thin.
