I went walking along the shore,
it was a really nice day.
Out came a little blue crab,
I guess he wanted to play.
He thought my foot was a play thing,
little bastard clamped on my heel.
Razor sharp claws drawing blood now
His clinging had no appeal.
I shook him off but he chased me...
A string of curse words were flung.
My foot hit the salt water,
oh my god how it stung.
People around just stood laughing ...
maybe at my bouncing flab.
Today it just doesn't matter ...
I'm fatter 'cause I eat blue crab!
Author notes
This is a true story. I have a picture of my husband bending over the crab as it chased me down the beach. I think I have a scar near my ankle too. I couldn't believe it chased me ........... argh!!!!

Such an amusing story, but you tell it in such wonderful rhyme. Your BG is really cool! Love it!

LOL...Your sea side recollection although painful at the time was humorously written. I like that fact that you have exacted your revenge in a healthy manner. YUM! Well done!
Good rhyming!
