The flexible rule of reality;
You think you know what's real,
And what is not.
Yet can you truly be certain
That you're even alive?

Is it possible to say you exist
So easily
Said yet unproved.
For all you know
Reality is a dream,
And we dream within dreams,
Waiting until this long dream ends,
Where we will truly see,
What is reality.
Senses can lie
And thoughts can be false
But perhaps I am too hasty to
Judge this situation.
Perhaps life as we know it
Does still exist...
You just have to will it there.

I sometimes wonder how we know we're alive when even in dreams we can feel pain and emotion and such.
