The Beach

Walking across the rough sand,

Swimming in the salty sea.

On my vacation, I get very tanned,

Having fun is the key.

 

I love to go to the beach,

Each and every year.

It's breathtaking going to the ocean,

The waves are crystal clear.

 

The Beach is fun,

It's number one,

Because each and every year,

I am here!

    I like the scene that you placed in the reader's mind by just very few lines from this short write, obviously Walking, swimming and breathtaking gave that awe-inspiring touch and all ^^
    Nice flow with the rhymes and the simplicity was quite good; all in all, good piece you got here ~

    ah the beach... i love it so much xD the beach makes me happy, too :] i just love the sun and heat. great write, good flow and rhyming- all in all, good write !

    Cool! I like this poem alot because I love going to the beach too. We went this summer. Instead of getting tanned I gut a bad sunburn instead. Lol. I love swimming in the ocean too except that it was freezing and it takes quite a while for the salty taste to go away. Great job!

    Awesome job! I LOVE going to the beach!!!!!!!! My family and I went to the beach when we were on vacation. It was really fun but I got a pretty bad sunburn. And the water was FREEZING because we were in Rhode Island so it was the Atlantic ocean. Oh well. It was totally awesome. Great job!!!!
