Eight million people in London
going somewhere
being someone
so how can I
be in London
all alone

oh - maybe it's classified as a city now....

I like the l alliteration

yes, it's amazing how we can be in a room full of people, or a city of millions and feel all alone....I, for one, always feel this way...
thanks so much for this entry.... i relate, only, I live in a village...lolol.

mmhm. I like this a lot, one of the best I've read in this contest, by far!!!!!! I can picture you walking amidst a crowd people, maybe crossing a street, or walking down the sidewalk (that's what comes to my mind) but not really with them. I like this observation, a lot
. It's easy for me to feel like this at UCLA too, sometimes...

Lonliness when surrounded is something I've
personally felt. Wonderful conveyance. Blue

Profound my friend, truly profound. A most poignant and apt summation of the prompt.
All the best,
mj.

Sometimes Tory puts her finger right on it, y'know (what a gal!). But I like this anyway, even if it isn't entirely "you". I know precisely what you mean - I remember rush-hour at Cannon Street.

Good stuff.
Love it to pieces.
(could it be failed deodorant?)
Good luck in the contest.

If you figure out the answer let me know...great job, I think the first I have ever read of yours that doesn't rhyme.

-
Never alone
but free verse isnt you
You rhyme in perfection.
stop allowing others to spin you
into their clay.
You are a master
