I see the depths and swells of a sea angered,
The depression I sank into deepens for reasons unknown,
I watch and cry tears for the distance between us,
Longing for the warmth of your touch and the comfort of knowing;
That you'll be home at the end of the day for a cuddle,
I know it shan't be long before we are together again,
Yet still these tears fall and I sigh a lonesome sigh;
Wishing that I were there with you once more,
I've never felt this before, if things were to stop...
Our song, the one I claimed for us, buzzes in my headphones,
Singing along as my tears mingle with the rain that's begun to fall,
Your loneliness is all too apparent, I rang you last night to hear;
"I'm at C103, I got bored" over the top of the thud of the bass,
I swear to you I'll be there soon, it's my promise to you,
I shan't be away for long, I will return home.

This is beautiful as you are, sweetheart...and I wish there was something I could do to stop the tears...but just know that I am thinking of you, and I know you can make it until you see him again.
