Vampire Vignette

You bite, suck hard, and taste;
Not a drop do you waste.
She blinks back painful tears.
She’ll be your feast for years.
Skin disturbed by your bite;
Drink deeply. Bleed her white.

    Wow, chilling! Just what I'd hoped for from this option! I love that last line, just completely ruthless. Wonderfully written, best of luck in the contest!

      I am glad you enjoyed the poem. I enjoyed the contest, but dark vampire poems are not my forte. Your comments and applause are appreciated.

      This is probably my one and only vampire poem. It is what happens with low inspiration on a Sunday night. I can always write from a word bank.

      I am glad you enjoyed the poem.
