Floating in the waters of eternity
I wait, wandering the universe silently
I am a spiritual entity
I am of light and darkness
I am the Alpha and the Omega
Silently following your every step
Watching you through the waters of life
I approach with light in my wake
To your inquiring mind
Which calls out to me from afar
Yet you do not hear
You can see me and so I come to you
Over the waters that separate
Imagination and spirituality
From reality
Over the plains and over the mountains
That exist between light and shade
I have come many light years
To bring my message unto you
Listen now for I speak words
That only you can hear
Every man and woman is a star
Every soul that wanders afar
Every being upon the Earth
Does not realise humanity's true worth
So connect with your star and live in heaven
A gift to you that has been given
Become the star that you really are
Let your light shine bright and far
For I am your soul and I am your light
Beautiful clear and pure in thy sight
I am a Star.

I think it is very hard for anyone to understand their worth, nevermind the whole of humanity. As a race, and, as I am all too aware of, my own mind, far too wrapped in chaos to see or hear anything clearly.
Though saying that, sometimes, there are moments of baffling clarity. This piece very much speaks of this.
