Like some distant storm
wholly surprised, you loved me.
A twister tangling hearts.
Off some foreign beach,
lovers collapse seawalls.
Our ship still afloat.
In some future time
we are one, watch for the storm.
Because just like the rain,
we’ll be there.

Absolutely beautiful! Brilliant, and one great story in this poetry.

Love love LOVED the ending.. that was so straightforward and leaves you with such an impression and many after-thoughts
"Because just like the rain,
we’ll be there."
--That was brilliant, and the rest was beautifully written too of course, that just stood out to me most.
Best of luck & thanks for entering

Sis
I love the comparison and how they fit so well together. Its like so obvious but couldn't be seen until you pointed it out in the poem. Great imagery, torrid and full of passion.
God Bless
