He said, he would demonstrate the art of silence
Though before I knew it
Too late, there’s tape crisscrossed on my lips, exiting out emotions maintained
Increasing punches come to my vitals, face, throat and stomach
And still, nothing murmurs from his lips that use to taste me
No shriek of horrification, for this is the art of silence
Though before I knew it
Too late, there’s tape crisscrossed on my lips, exiting out emotions maintained
Increasing punches come to my vitals, face, throat and stomach
And still, nothing murmurs from his lips that use to taste me
No shriek of horrification, for this is the art of silence

I think the way it reads is confusing me.... *worried*
I understand the meaning, but I had to read it serveral times. I'm not sure how you could improve this, but I'm happy with the meaning of the poem.
It did make me think of abuse, mostly in children.
