Where will the wind
Carry my mind today?
Far away or nearer to home
From which I do not roam
The tides flow in with
Messages from the
Other shore
Where I have never
Been before
If only these waves
Could speak to me
What philosophies would
I begin to see?
Thoughts of man? Or from the depths below
Songs of whales**; & dolphins*** our friends
If we can communicate with them
Before life ends.
Are we only intelliget species on this planet?
Probably not.
We just don't understand their
Language and thought.
Someday we will, in a
Future not far away
Oh, I would be glad
To see that day
