tell me you meant it
tell me you meant it
when the bottle hit the wall and
shattered
tell me you meant it
tell me i matter
when the paintball hit the wall and splattered
tell me you want me
tell me you want me
tell me you want me
tell me the blood isnt all that you remember
remember the way the sweat
froze on my skin
the way the smoke seemed to shift
tell me you want me
tell me you want me
tell me it...
matters
remember the laughter
the tiny wooden splinters in the
soles of our shoes
and the shiny new metal
that wasnt the same
looking down,
i thought it was dark
there was no one around
tell me...
tell me you meant it
tell me you meant it
the words at pointed lust and spiral
pencil tip, the way the dust crests
over us
where we lay restful on the mattress
hurry up
tell me you meant it
tell me you meant it
stand up,
spent
the water telling us to
reconsider the way we
moved in the wind
the way the sparkling snowflakes didnt seem to
fade when they hit the ground,
a cigarette lighter held above the crowd
flame dying down
lights going out
all throughout the house,
now me without you is like
the sand without the ocean
a bowl without a grain of rice to fill it
a letter to the wrong address
a prison cell in hell
and no one knows who sent it
tell me you meant it
tell me you meant it

I like the demanding tone
The directives set up an effective rhythm of jabs, keeping the attention focused. Normally repetition does not work well for me, but you make it work in this write.

I feel like this sounds very 'song-ie' if you know what I mean. Which is a good and bad thing. At the same time you made it sound really poetic, but at times the repetition seemed unnecessary and almost annoying.
It was still a very good write, with a lot of feeling in it. Good job
