Castle of the Strange

Missing image

Dedicated to the lovers of the paranormal!

Bram Stoker

Pennsylvania 6-5000,
Re-'vamped',
Transylvania 6-5000,
Bram Stoked,
Forgive the 'Miller' pun,
A chilling one,
England choked,
At eerie tales,
Of paranormal things,
Spirit wails,
Count Dracula beckons,
No Brahms Lullaby,
Bedtime horror story,
Our ways not their ways,
Escape if you try,
Nightmare Gory,
Blood sucking,
Vampirical dwelling,
Compelling Bram Stoker,
No joker,
In a creepy castle,
Horror hassle,
Scare you to death,
No myth,
It dwelleth,
Transylvania 6-5000,
Live in dread!
Dead next time round,
Neck bite see red!
In blood drowned.

Glen Miller (Glen Miller Band) wrote a song called "Pennsylvania 6-5000" this contest prompt, prompted a bit of chilling satire in me with a pun on the Glen Miller song!

It mixes folklore as if to insist that what you are giving us in fear, the nerve wrenching goes as far as the thought of it, than experienceing it. It really is what I'd call a psyhcological thought which gives in to that fear over time, talk about suspense,

      inspiring and encouraging.
Glad you liked it. I agree fully with your valued and appreciated comments. A mere thought can become a nightmare once it is let loose in the mind and the mind twists it all ways around! This creates an incrwsing intesity of profound fear from anticipated expectations!
