Cleopatra's Sight

Missing image

Drenching decay
      she bore souls
through a looking glass

as I fell between tongues
skinning in silence;

Being glazed oblivion
fire lay ash
  swallowing secrets
and last picture imprints
       that perceived the blind.

and between those lines
I knew more of love and loss, than to live
between window impressions;

          of who she was.
