She stands at the window,
staring outside,
at the hills with no grass,
the trees with no leaves,
and the dark cloud that drop no rain.
Silence
Her friend comes over,
and makes small talk;
But she doesn't answer,
she isn't even paying attention,
she has finally found something she has wanted.
A bird
She looks at the bird,
as it flies in the sky.
Away from all other birds,
away from all the problems
it could encounter.
Freedom
Her friend stops the talk,
and flashes his hand in front of her face,
but gets no response back.
She is daydreaming,
and wishing she was a bird.
To fly away
He grabs her books,
and walks away,
as she just stands
looking out the window.
Looking out the window,
at the hills with no grass,
the trees with no leaves,
and the dark clouds that drop no rain.
And as she stands there,
without moving an inch,
a tear runs down her face.

Um...
I am rolling with the punches...
and this happened today,
so I am writing about it.

oh wow... that had a very unexpected outcome. I love this though.
Just wow... I don't know what to say to this.. so I will just go with this:
I love it, you did a great job and I can't get over this poem.

It's misleading, at first I looked at it, and to be honest I thought it'd be a rather boring poem about nature's beauty. But it wasn't.
It was a fantastic, very touching, very deep piece. I read it 4times over and when you read the one liners by themselves it makes a different poem, which is rather cool.
Anyway, I've rambled far too much, great poem
