The framers' fears

The Founders' fears, as of late, have been realized.
Not by all, but by a few informed and interested Patriots.

These Patriots fall victim to the hazing you all call Mainstream Media.
They ask simple questions to the powers that be,
And are labeled "conspiracy nuts".

Simple questions about the stories the power provides go unanswered,
Even as the stories defy laws of physics;
Even as the stories contradict themselves;
Even as the stories are shrouded in secrecy.

These Patriots fall victim to the Two Minutes Hate you call Fox News.
They read you the Constitution simply for your interpretation;
Simply for your consideration,
And are labeled Radicals.

Simple concepts about our Rights being violated and ripped away from us,
Even as you're totally informed about these violations;
Even as the powers admit to every word;
Even as the powers have committed the atrocities before;
You remain ignorant.

I do not ask that you "join the cause" or change your belief system,
Simply understand one thing:

America is no longer free.
The Founders pledged their lives, fortunes and well beings for you;
Your Liberty and mine were bought and paid for in blood.
"...the blood of Patriots and Tyrants."

You want to talk about atrocities, start at home.
