woman scorned

i would have given you my all
the world upon a platter
i would have sacrificed my life
and everything that mattered

i could have filled your world with joy
gave you such happiness
i could have fulfilled your every dream
loved you from now until forever

given half the chances to do
just some of  they above
had you not betrayed me so
we would have lived a fairy tale

blood upon my wedding gown
stained from cuts sliced deep
words of lies, screaming pleads
as you begged for your life

insanity that's my plead
they say my case looks good
death penalty they wont give

for me its they asylum

this is an awesome poem. the rhyme is good and the flow is good too.. the poem itself is very dark, which brings a smile to my face.
the last stanza last line. I do believe its a typo.
    they = the..

other than that, you did an outstanding job with the prompt & your poem is excellent

    good luck in the contest
