Rain drops fall, rivers flow
And oceans span the land
Clear sky, burning sun
And miles of desert sand
My blue sky is your sky
We look at the same sun
Different lives and different lands
As people we are one
The air I breath is free to cross
The boundaries that we claim
The constant force of nature
On this earth treats us the same
The mid day sun of warmth and cheer
That disappears at night
Is really shining down on you
To make your day as bright
Life can be a simple thing
Its purpose is: to “be”
No matter what we might believe
Our love can set us free
In your world as in mine
Flowers bloom so sweet
In earth’s beauty we can share
If ever we should meet
This instant called the present
Forever always new
The same moment in time
Is “now” for me, as well as you
I will live and I will love
And search for reasons why

But in battles we will die
