Little Teachers

Such a world
If exists
So kind, moral
All pleasantness
Little wonders
Tiny friends
Such a miracle
Each do lend
See no color
See no race
Naive and wonder
Embody such grace
If only we grown ups
Would watch and learn
The little teachers
Do treat in turn
What a world
This could be
If only we grown ups
Were open to see...

So true, if only we could all see the world through a child's eyes. You have captured a lot in this poem. Best to you

    ...when do we stop learning?

I love this one, Vic...Has an innocence to it while at the same time speaks volumes about the society at large...We really could learn a thing or two from our children. Trust being the very first thing, in my opinion. Just a couple tweaks here...Line 5: try 'All' pleasantness; Line 12: 'Naievete and wonder' seems more apporpriate to my ear; Line 17: 'That' treat in turn seems a bit smoother...All done...no booboos I hope. ...Peace, Rhonda
