PUT INTO LETTERED LINES OUR WORDS EACH DAY,

INTO a mode whose code Love understands,

LETTERED keys which music make, join hands,

LINES where vines unbottle tireless play.

OUR thoughts are precious, even day-to-day

WORDS transmute Life's dross to golden bands, -

EACH adding thought-grains to its neighbour's sands

DAY in, day out, forms subtle interplay

LEAVING EXPRESSED THESE THOUGHTS - ETERNAL RAY.

EXPRESSED, ideas communicate Truth's stands.

THESE inklings, small at first, the mind expands,

THOUGHTS take fresh forms, new powers, others sway.

ETERNAL ray within you waits to shine,

RAY which your heart may splice to hopes of mine ?

Acrostics love them...sonnets can't do them but love the feel they bring to a poem. You have just made judging extremely difficult.

This was simply beautiful and a pleasure loved the ending.

Thank you for entering and good luck

very interesting. I rarely see a poem written like this. I have never tried one myself I would think that they would be difficult to write. This one was very well written tho. Thanks for sharing
