Dubai world zenith
Dubai, principal political and economic heart of the United Arab Emirates is now one of the most beautiful and modern city-states in this world! The photograph above illustrates a night time view of this fantastic and fast growing destination. Tourism seems to be the dominant source of income today in this tiny, almost exclusively Sunni Muslim country. The leader of this modern country deserves great praise, for although I’ve not been to the city or country of Dubai, here is a modest Haiku poetic tribute to His Highness and Dubai:

I am in awe at this magnificent piece. Sheikh Mohammed without a doubt deserves such praise for someone with such great vision. Many who have been here before it all began are amazed at the way Dubai looks today including my father who left this place in 1989, and those who visit it now dont feel that they are in an islamic country as it is so modern. The other man made wonders just add to the beauty of it all.
I am glad my write inspired you, thanks for this beautiful haibun, a form I have to try. Thanks for sharing.
