Confession and Proposal

    He looked into her eyes. They were the color of the sea on a sunshine day, shining with an inner light as he gazed at her with tender intensity. The air around them sparked and crackled as he took her hand.
    "Iris, there is a poem i would like to share with you. It is written on my heart, and imprinted on my soul. This poem is the air I breathe, my life. And I want you to hear it.
    "When I see you my heart beats so fast and strong, that I could power the lightening and thunder of every storm in the world for a millenia. My mind grows distant and my emotions take over. I feel the love that resounds between us, more true and powerful than every honest word ever spoken. I feel the immense joy at knowing that my heart belongs to you and hopefully yours belongs to me. i feel the flame of desire to have you in my arms and to touch you, kiss you, caress you, and make your every need satiated. I feel the need and longing to be with you, start a life together, and to experience the purest form of love and joy that can only exist between a husband and wife. I see the memories and dreams which one day may come and sigh with the burden of having to wait for one of the greatest blessings. Iris, when I see you, three words ring clear and true, like bells at dawn's first light.
    "Iris, my love, will you spend eternity with me? Will you, not but barely knowing me four months, permit me to take your hand in marriage?"
    She looked into his eyes. He could see eons of love hidden away patiently until this moment.The joy at his proposal was evident in her enormous smile and the soft shivering of her porcelien body. She peered deep into his soul and replied, "Yes, Daniel. I will spend eternity with you as your bride."
    He took her slowly into his strong, gentle arms, then bit her.
