You were a
hug in tapestry
nose on the screen
joke in the pillow
face from the hall
bathtub bubble
partner at school.
Now you are a
jonquil in ground cover
autumn’s whisper
tear in wind
your smile on my mouth
a voice with angel’s counsel
and forever friend in
both worlds.

Hoodwink!
This had me breathless, for I too lost my sister weeks back. This poem expressed everything I have been trying to and failing at. So thank you for that. I wish you and your heart all the best by friend.

This is a beatiful tribute to your dear sister. The bond between sisters is one that can never be replaced. A loss of this magnitude would tear my world apart. I love that you say "a voice with angels counsel"... and "forever friend in both worlds". I really enjoy your style. I like how each short line is a complete thought. (I'm a stickler for complete thoughts)

I hope your sister forever resides in your heart.

The Living Bible.
Revelation 21:4,5.
He [God] will wipe away all tears from their eyes,
and there shall be no more death, or sorrow, or crying, or pain. All of that has gone forever.
And the one sitting on the throne said "See, I am making all things new!" And then he said to me "Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true."
Kind Thoughts and wishes,
Lady Mak.
