Dedicated to all blue moon 'Angel' fairies!
Once in a blue moon,
The rainbow fairy rises from the deep,
Slithering up from her watery domain,
All too soon....
Might she weep,
If she cannot remain,
And yet find love,
From heaven above...
Scaled to perfection,
She the creature of Moon Mountain lake,
For heaven's sake,
Do not let me dwell alone,
Cold the ice maiden,
Amidst the resident birds,
Of the zone...
Somewhere in fantasy-land,
Under and arc,
Of iridescent light,
This night,
Take flight,
Rise and transcend,
Isolation her burden,
Lifted to release...
The rainbow 'Angel' fairy
Of the blue moon,
Astride entranced,
Entwined,
Water-falling,
Hair sprawling,
Flowers sailing... anon.
