Seven dictionaries
look accusingly
all those words
and here I sit
looking for just
enough of them
to make a poem
Thirty eight volumes
all neatly lined up
filled with everything
from aardvarks to
zygotes
and all I need is
one subject for
one poem
Two screens
a few wires
and the knowledge
of the world
at my fingertips
and I find
I have nothing
to say
at
all.
