Mein Freund,
it has been such
a long time
since I stopped by last.
I had to finish my novel
for a publisher,
They wanted it as soon
as possible.
And I barely had it started.
But I got it done,
and sent off,
So now,
I'm playing the
waiting game.
No, it's not fun,
but as a writer,
I know it takes time.
Another school year
begins today,
It seems the summer
just started...
But I saw kids at
bus stops today.
I hope Mein Freund,
that as my God Children
begin this year,
You will watch over them,
and wrap wings of love
around them,
Keeping them safe,
Giving them the strength
they need each day,
to be themselves,
and to learn what they
can each day.

So nice this Oak Tree and the wonderful conversations of your heart, soul and thoughts. How exciting sending off the book and yes I would imagine the waiting part is hard but you did that really fast, that Book.
Then I loved how you reflected upon the moment of the day and the children starting school today. Yes they did and it was a beautiful kind of prayer,

Well I already had eleven chapters done, and knew the story well
beings as it was the search for my mom. and I spent every spare minute working on it, so it did go quite well.
