The battle is on
for all to see
force their hand
to set their prisoners free.
The Queen meanders
where she may
mighty and forceful
a look of dismay.
Weakness shines from
my opponents eyes
strategy changes as
I plan their demise.
Divert attention
so I move unseen
Savoring your defeat
I've captured your Queen.

This is just amazing, the rhyme and flow are exquisite! Great storyline and I assume this is based upon Option 5 in the contest?
Love the title, love the theme, the poetic graphics and vivid imagery are fabulous and you make the reader really feel as if they were actually there, right in the scenario you so eloquently paint in poetic artistry, and the sculpting adds even more weight to this too.
The first and the last stanza are fantastic ... these in particular move me (forgive the pun queen!).
Bravo, brilliant entry well done love it!
