Soul has a way to feel loss.
It shivers or aches
for immediate need ...
for arms or heat or care.
For Love's chant.
Sorrow pushes boundaries. Twitched,
the heart becomes mellow
and enriched
by knowing its life is elsewhere;
an awareness not understood
by those shallow
and ignorant.
Beautiful sorrow!
Ah, Amazing Autumn ...
stripped from mortality
gruesome greed disappears;
masks of moral flaws,
warped by immoral fallacies,
are destroyed by purity.
Ghastly giggles of the heartless
shrivel to whimpers; mocking faces
in leaves flee in fear.
On naked branches new buds appear ...
Welcome, Beloved!
Welcome, eternal Spring.
