Soaring high in the afternoon sky
An apparition of sacred beauty
Caressing the moon with fiery wings
Healing the hearts of the wounded
Keeping the lights
In her eyes ever bright
She's a beacon of hope
A cathedral of strength
Diving through ashes
To be reborn again
A cheater of death
Unstoppable.
To bind this creature
Would be a shame
Firebird lacking freedom
Strives to regain
Interstellar explosions
and Death.
But perhaps she's tempted
By this offer of mine:
I shall let her rest
In a most adequate nest
Upon the sculptured hip
Of an elegant lady
Dedicated to miss Adele
As flames upon her skin
Proudly presenting
It's talons and beak
Faithful and pure
With fire and flame
Protecting this dame
Illusion of a teardrop
Melting away.
Author notes
A simple inspirational poem for you to enjoy perhaps.

Lovely!
Every time I read this, it brings me hope. A little something that makes life easier, I will get my phoenix, if not on the hip it will be in my heart. This is a reminder not to give up, Thank you!
