Yes! I do love your vibrant colors again, sis..It looks like a crinkled paper background. You have chosen great veggies for the border, although perhaps the edges of the veggies seem cut off in the border..or should have borders? Who am I to say..I have not done backgrounds yet!..Yeah veggies!

Hmm this seems alittle carelessly done. I understand how hard it can be to hide the seams but it is very much possible and I would have extended the border alittle more so the seam wasn't so obvious. Overall this is well done with the crinkle of the paper effect.

Well done! -
Wow certainly matches the title very well
I love the natural bright colours, fresh and crisp looking. The scrunched paper effect has been used well. I won't repeat whats been covered with shadowing bots etc
I do think the border repeats to soon IMO could have done with being longer, especially with the seam showing as it does
Font wise, friendly with some colours, I can see you have picked out the veggie colours for some font but IMO it hasn't worked so well. I do think harvest with this, can envision the table now with all the food on it
Seams aren't easy at the best of times with some designs, they can take some work to get rid of. Overall it is a creative piece, with beautifully vibrant colours and the texture adds to it very well

Hi Debilynn
The vegi's on your border make me hungry for a Spaghetti Dinner
with steamed squash on the side. Yummy background

Hi Debilynn,
Very rich colors suggest the arrival of fall.
The bottom 2 vegetables are cropped, creating a visible seam. I can see that you ran out of room on your background. I would suggest that you select a transparent "new image" the same height as your background and a wider width across than you anticipate you need. Arrange your vegetables on the second image. If it looks as though you're running out of room, you can hit the back arrow and begin again, or paste what you have onto another transparent new image which is longer, and either enlarge the background or reduce the size of your "grouped" tube before you copy and paste it.
Some of your tubes have shadows, others don't. All should be shadowed if some are. As you "paste" each tube you can apply a shadow to it.
The background color suggests spring more than Fall, though color wise it works pretty well with the vegetables. The paper texture suggests a paper bag to me, the local produce market. (I wonder how a paper bag color would work with this....)
The white type, though it has plenty of contrast, is too "white" with this background. The other type colors could be a bit subtler.
1. design/composition 16.0
2. originality(of concept) 19.0
3. color(compatibility)17.1 A bit more care needed when choosing font colors, background color a tad bright.
4. execution 15.8
(effects/clarity/resolution/seamless)
5. legibility 20.0
(readability/sufficient contrast between type and background.)
TOTAL 87.9

Hi there

My first impression, is why did you choose a Bot which had no ability to seem......seamless?
The peach font is not a good choice....IMO ~
There could have been some fading attempted......and your Background just does not have the...*Beginning of Fall* approach to it
....it's more of a Summer Genre ~I love the vibrant colours in your Border, but, work on transition from Back to Bord ~
Layering your Bots, fading from Back to Bord, and working in odd numbers shall help you perfect your next entry.....good luck and God bless,
Bear ~
Title....17.95.....Mmm.... ~
Colours...15.4...I believe the colours are mix-matched....we are trying to begin Falls Theme....try to focus on that Theme with your next entry ~
Creativity...12.95....does not show too much effort, but if you are just starting to learn Backs & Bords, then this is great
~Presentation...12.95...When I first clicked on this, my eyes went directly to your Border.....and then slid over to the green.....and then I went....Hmmm ~
First Impression...14...loved the veggies...but then I saw your seams....and it was not a good thing to see such a cut seam ~
Bears Score: 73.25
Not bad

Work on your colours and fading ~
No editing once a Judge has touched your work, or until after contest closes ~

Crumpled paper works well as a texture on this BG, and the veggies add a beautiful splash of Fall color. Best of luck...Scott
