Overbearing apron strings tie control;
venting children of third eyes tend to wander.
exoskeleton bonnets gain patrol;
resentment clings to hearts, learning to squander.
protectiveness that grinds, drives love to cry
relaxing straps of bonds makes smiles that last
of all the cowling things that parents try;
the strangling hold of hand brings the worst past
escutcheon of strongholds leads to tensions;
covering mother hens; cackles unending.
the wreath; childrens suffocating ascensions
inept parents keep trying, while pretending.
view this poem; compensate the things you do,
eventually, they'll be a better you.
