And Ladies fanciful things,
Dreams long gone,

To either gate,
Dressed to please,
And draw the eye,
Speaking of things,
Both truths and lies,
Dance to the tune,
Of a laughing cry,
None see the paint,
Fade with wet lines,
Pain is laughter,
Time takes chance,
Love is sorrow,
The latter a wrenching lance,
Offered a choice,
To smirk for all days,
Immortalized now,
In a deck to guide ways,
Wonder and toy,
With the Fates gifts,
Greatest joke told and imparted,
He chuckles in silent fits...
