So
Its here to stay
This sorrow, unborrowed
Can't get my way
When will come the day
Depression leaves,
Obsession heaves
The day when i don't have time to grieve
I'm itchin inside
For that sweet relief
Concrete belief
In the power of my mind in itself
Entwined in the wealth
of those i oppose
who can find, someone kind in themself.

This poem is something that a lot of people will be able to relate to in some kind of way. While reading this I had a little bit the feeling it leaned towards the clichéd side of poetry to be honest.
An oopsie I found:
Line 2: its -> it's
And here and there no capitalization of 'I'.
Thank you for entering!

It can certainly feel like forever waiting for, as your title says, someone kind to enter our lives and mean not only something special to us, but that we will be something to them as well. You've described the longing well. Thanks so much for entering my contest!
