It let out a loud roar
and sucked me into its murky depths.
It transformed my entire landscape
into a sea of blues and greens.
Nothing more,
nothing less.
It knocked me in the head
with a good, solid blow and took me in.
I learned about relativity,
I learned about the quantum world, and
I learned to soar and glimsped the sky.
I learned, I grew, I lived.
I lived like love never touched me,
like all that's happened was just
a dream, and I could forget, and
not let it touch me again.
That I could leave, and move on,
that I could let the waves wash away
the pain and loss and memories...
That I could pretend never existed.
But it comes back to haunt you yeah,
it always does. There's no
running away from it, ever.
There's no escape, no haven, no out route.
There's nothing there, and
something everywhere. It's the
entanglement theory all over again.
I just wish
that it could all change,
that I'm not bound infinitely with you,
that this may prove a cure,
a sanctury- my escape route.
I don't want to be sucked in all over again,
I've found an alternative,
I've found your replacement,
and it's not living- it's dead- but it's what I love,
So there.

I've been on the lookout for science-sy contests ever since I (re)discovered my love for science (okay, or it might only be quantum physics haha) and this seemed really cool (the picture is awesome too 
) So yeah, hope it's not too abstract/detached for you guys...

Hmmm... While I'm really not big on the science-y stuff, it's true that love is a science. It's all about the chemistry, though in the same breath, something so strong can hardly be explained away by mere theories.
