All I can do is watch.
Lightning crashes,
The man in the center of the storm,
Clouds swirling around him,
As if their goal is to lift him up off the ground
And banish him to Hell.
How can such madness have driven him this far?
Can misery not leave one alone?
I cry,
Wishing the storm would let him be.
People wonder why I cry.
I cry
Because I'm mad too,
And I cannot stop it from consuming those
As it has consumed me.
As the storm sets in,
I prepare for it to swallow us both,
Leaving no trace
Of our lost souls...

Option Four- A selection from “ Mad Man In The Rain” By Oikevoi
Standing alone as the rain pours
Lightening strikes the ground thirty feet from him.
He yells to the sky, “Is that all you got?”
Laughing and crying, he is losing his mind.
