Road to Redemption

Watching the seagulls dive and catch,
I feel the breeze from the ocean.
The waves brush against the beach,
it is a sight to never forget.
Immense emotions overtake me as the seagulls call out for attention.
The shore to redemption, how rocky yet so pure.
With great hope, I find solace sitting here.
I know now that nothing can phase me.
I have nothing at all to fear.
Even though the clouds now roll in, a storm is fast upon us,
I know that God above will watch over me.
This is his promise.
And now I rise up from my resting place, ready to take on the world.
I'll return here one day.
When I feel like everything's gone bad, I know that here, I'll be okay.
So till the time we meet again, I'll go my separate way.
There is a hope for all my tomorrows.
For now, I'll be happy and rejoice in all my todays.
