~*~ Skinny Dipped from Dawn to Dusk ~~

Sighs sought refuge in four legged vessel
that waited under the oak
near her scent which grew thick within trunk
of tree she frequented.

Masculine frame with mane,
urgent winds tossled strands of a quiet life
when it stood at attention in full command.

Perseverance pushed his paws to cleanse
while he envisioned her fingers dance
to Genesis in greenest of meadows.

Crickets crooned as Sunshinegirl  listened,
visitors passed by with recollections remembered;
captured in jelly jars for preservation.
A g
lass menagerie of moments traced
along delicate borders, laced in Love~

From the coldest of winter two years ago.
His duty ceased on Earth's soil yet signs
left posted through claw marks on bark, teeth bit
in memory with message accompanied.

Dewdrop kisses in Dreams
manifested more than words could utter,
they dripped...Hold on my Heart~

For her 'Light' s
tained, outlined in a birthmark only
this Lionslove would recognize, reach to touch.

Unbridled essence laid on every inch
of her Sacred space
when s
he melted like chocolate in his wake.
Formed a passionate pool,  shape unfettered.
Mirrored inhibitions written within form;
skinny dipped from dawn to dusk.

Underneath the oak tree both traded secrets,
whispered since their first friendly encounter.

Fur dissipated, white rose petals pulsated.
Bloomed in honor beneath a Heavenly canopy
alongside an Angel  (Nettie sung in hymn)
who never left his side or severed their bond
when wings carried the sleeping Lion
that onced walked two legs strong
into the Lord's den.

This brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful read this one is! One can feel the love flowing from these words. I knew instantly, the reference from "The Journal Under The Old Oak" (I need to finish that collection) This is truly a gift and words are comforting and full of love!

You will never know the full extent of what this means to me. Thank you is not enough to say what it means to me.

I will forever cherish this lovely write!

    and much love
