Homecooking...

hypocrisy has been a staple food
I am getting sick of eating

as you are sick with take out food

and love is like a cherry on top;
an icing on the cake...
it's too much carbohydrate

I'm becoming bulimic with this diet

let's fuck it; loose the guilt
bite the apple over the table
drink wine straight from the bottle
table manners doesn't matter

gourmet is not served in my kitchen

this is something gastronimical
this is something more practical

chow time baby
let's try something we wouldn't mind eating

let's satisfy our hunger
smorgasbord, no left overs

    I love the ending (smorgasbord is an ace word) and the idea of love being "too much carbohydrate" is also cool. Love is indeed a lot to take all at once.

    well I'm worried about the indigestion...metaphorically speaking. What we do without recrimination usually comes back to haunt us...but who made me the hall monitor? I'm the worst sinner on AP, I have no right to preach...yet I do...oops, put my picture at the top of your poem...Mr. hypocrisy.

    Silliness aside. Sometime we just have to abandon logic, let emotion decide...my emotions say I need Moxie!
