White on white, black on black,
Knives and bullets taken in the back.
Racist hatred? or pure crime,
Only one outcome, "doing time".
Blood on the pavement,
Gun in your hand.
A child's life's been taken,
At the place where you stand.
So this is the culture,
We've been asked to embrace.
A knife to the throat,
Or a kick to the face.
Weapons or drugs,
At the places they meet.
No more excuses,
"Guns and knives off the street".
It's time to feel safer,
Show these kids that we care.
For a lifetime of hatred,
Is a life of despair.................

This is so sad but oh so true. It is a shame that life is this way and the thought of one of my children lying in a street kills me and for that matter anyones child. Very Very GOOD
