redwoods chant the wind
light gray tan oaks sway in time
deep green ferns rustle
and all through the shadowed gloom
alder leaves fall like drizzle

Wow so much meaning!

Nature carries a great deal of meaning all in herself. A lazy poet need only call out her features to bestow ageless meaning to her poems.

Excellent conveyance of Autumn's spirit in tanka form.

Tankautumn.
Autamnka.
Tanka and autumn do seem to be a natural match.

As usual I am dazzled by your ability to paint a picture with words. Bravo

Thank you, sir! I'm glad you like this one. You by any chance know where Usal Beach is?

This is an absolutely beautiful piece, I love your natural imagery here!

Natural imagery! Yes! Though I'm finding that it begins to feel repetitive after a few hundred poems of similar focus. I'm hoping to be able to add new layers of imagery, meaning and metaphor to my writing soon. One must self-educate to break through such barriers.
