Our Eala ~ for Liadan

Missing image

She often yearns

to run & fly,

this breathless siren,

a wilderness woman,

talented temptress,

sensitive spirit,

kindred.

Shimmering as she moves

through Time & Space,

eyes flashing fierce flames,

her elegant allure

& grace

defines her presence.

Yet, she remains ever humble,

passionate in her caring,

knowing well

the depths of darkness,

the storms of sorrow,

the intensity of first light.

Her wings wide

with anticipation,

she embraces

everyone & everything

with tearful gratitude,

aware of precious moments

sacred inside this glorious span

of sudden infinity.

She is wandering within the mist,

not quite here, not quite there...

Yet, she longs for us to know

the peaceful beauty

surrounding us

always

as she loves...

My prayers are with her & her family.

What beauty and grace, dearest Eala. Certainly it cannot be for me. A reflection of your own loveliness and a testament to your talent. You write words that move my soul. And for that (among other things) we are sisters. Thank you for thinking so fondly of me.

'Tis yours & none other's, my Sister. I'm so happy you like it, Sweetie. I'm goin' to bed now, Li. Don't wear yourself out, my Friend...Get some rest when (& while) you can. 'Member, this place IS addictive & sucks time from the universe. And I know those darlin' boys of yours will have you tusslin' & runnin' in no time...'specially that tall, handsome, impatient one.

Wow! you have done an amazing job with this poem!
    it flows soo smoothly
you also get a clear image of what is being portrayed.
and the adjectives you've used really add alot of depth to the poem.

Overall a great write - Keep up the good work!

    Oh Swannee,
    fight of endles hope
to thill the soul in breeze more caring,
    daring flight through wistful sight
of sun to bend through yonder willow
know Ilove your words to follow,
the taste of love inside my swallow...

In this poem, in the depth of your words she will always live and be as close as gods would have any of us be to immortality. Truly a gift and a wonderful poem.
    Love, Tom B.

i went to her page after reading your tribute...

    i am so touched
    by her words
and her friendship with you- i do not remember her
    but she had you
to bring her to life for us
and what a special gift that is

    beautiful...

    well crafted tribute

each word creates an image of divine spirit.
    These lines touch me deeply
    "aware of precious moments
    sacred inside this glorious span
    of sudden infinity.
    She soars above us now,
freed from pain, loss & fear ~"

A beautiful and deeply moving poem, Vlindertjie. I didn't know her but if you can write like this about her, then she must have been a special woman. Sighs... and still so young . Beautiful...there is life and love in your words.

It is so beautiful, Wanda. I have not words to write at the moment. But I am deeply touched by this beautiful tribute. Liadan would adore it and say something to the effect of "You are too kind. You flatter me."

But the truth is, you are right on the mark. You have given life to her through your words. Thank you
