My flickering eyes
playing tic-tac-toe
with your freckles.
Wondrous bits of
heavenly spackling
upon your nose &
scattered round-about
your
tanned cheeks
with -spot-on- beauty
endowing
your bare shoulders.
Is it that I love
those firefly freckles
more than those
dark
pistachio eyes?
Truth be told-
they complement
one another
Like a brisk autumn night
and a fanciful
Harvest Moon.
